Honey Roasted Pears

Honey Roasted Pears

A simple, elegant, and naturally sweet dessert.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Pears (Packham or B Bosc), halved and cored
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • ¼ cup Walnuts (or almonds), chopped
  • 1 tbsp Butter (or coconut oil)
  • Greek yoghurt or vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Place pear halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
  3. Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon, and top with chopped walnuts.
  4. Add a small dot of butter on each pear half.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until soft and caramelised.
  6. Serve warm with a dollop of Greek yoghurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Tip: You can also use apples instead of pears for a variation!
