Honey Roasted Pears

A simple, elegant, and naturally sweet dessert.
Ingredients:
- 2 Pears (Packham or B Bosc), halved and cored
- 2 tbsp Honey
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ¼ cup Walnuts (or almonds), chopped
- 1 tbsp Butter (or coconut oil)
- Greek yoghurt or vanilla ice cream (for serving, optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Place pear halves in a baking dish, cut side up.
- Drizzle with honey, sprinkle with cinnamon, and top with chopped walnuts.
- Add a small dot of butter on each pear half.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until soft and caramelised.
- Serve warm with a dollop of Greek yoghurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Tip: You can also use apples instead of pears for a variation!
